May Mart returns Keeping Sewickley Green

Broad Street (from Beaver to Thorn) and a portion of Thorn Street will be closed to traffic to make way for garden clubs selling flowers and plants.

More than 50 vendors and community organizations will be selling food, garden wares, repurposed items, eco-friendly merchandise, and nature-themed gifts with Mother’s Day in mind. Please see the map and vendor list below.

  • May Mart is held rain or shine.
  • Free to the public.
  • Free children’s Plant-A-Pot activity where children plant a flower to take home, compliments of the Sewickley Civic Garden Council. Preregister Here
  • A family centered event, additional children’s activities include chalk art and painting pots with seeds.
  • Tree Pittsburgh, in collaboration with Sewickley Civic Garden Council and the Quaker Valley Council of Governments will continue its tree adoption program with tree pick up during May Mart hours in the Sewickley Eye Group parking lot.
  • Photography sale at the Lindsay Theater on Walnut Street.
  • Rummage sale at the Sewickley United Methodist Church.
  • Pre-owned garden books for sale at the Sewickley Public Library.
  • Floral art Saturday at Mark Renger’s Gallery, 549 Beaver Street, in support of May Mart.
